The Beaming Toolbox began with a simple, powerful goal: to build something creative from home that allows us to balance meaningful work with family life. We are Laura and Keith Loucks, parents, artists, and makers who wanted to craft a business that lets us stay present for our children while focusing on what we love most—creating.

Laura has always been driven by the act of making things. Her journey started with a lifelong passion for painting and crafting, which led to art school and a 20-year career as a makeup artist in the film world. Now, she channels that same artistic passion into thoughtful design and projects that invite others to make something beautiful of their own.

Keith brings the essential foundation of precision and quality. With a decade of experience as a home inspector, he is the expert who ensures every piece we create is built to last and made with care. Together, we combine Laura's creative vision with Keith's grounded eye for detail to design unique wood art kits and decor that feel both inspiring and structurally sound.

We are a small, family-run shop based in the Pacific Northwest, creating premium, laser-cut DIY kits that are as satisfying to complete as they are beautiful to display. We are committed to offering something truly different: kits that spark creativity, feature superior quality designs, and look great when finished.
