About Us – Built from Creativity, Fueled by Family

The Beaming Toolbox began with a simple goal: to build something creative from home, where we could balance meaningful work with family life. As parents, artists, and makers, we wanted to craft a business that lets us stay present for our children while doing what we love most—creating.

I’ve always loved making things. I grew up painting, crafting, and exploring anything creative I could get my hands on. That passion led me to art school, and later into a 20-year career as a makeup artist in the film world. Now, I'm channeling that same passion into a new creative chapter, one focused on handcrafted art, thoughtful design, and projects that invite others to make something beautiful of their own.

My husband brings a grounded eye for detail and quality. With a decade of experience as a home inspector, he’s the one who makes sure everything we create is built to last and made with care. Together, we combine creativity and precision to design unique art kits and home décor that feel thoughtful and inspiring.

We’re a small, family-run shop based in the Pacific Northwest, creating laser-cut DIY kits that are as beautiful as they are fun. We’ve tried—and loved—many art kits over the years, and we’re excited to offer something different: kits that spark creativity, are satisfying to complete, and look great on display.
